Celebrate Christmas with the Annapolis Chorale
Preceded by an optional dinner at Carpaccio Tuscan Kitchen, One Park Place. Annapolis at 5:45 pm
Reasons you’ll love this evening of holiday music
The Soloists: Grammy nominated Jenny Oaks Baker. If her rendition of Ding, Dong Merrily on High doesn’t get your foot tapping, you haven’t got a pulse. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPGA5UCA8TU
Former member of the Celtic Women Alex Sharpe. If her version of Silent Night doesn’t move you, you haven’t got a soul.
The Guest Conductor: Westbrook Murphy will seize the podium to conduct George Frederick Handel’s “Hallelujah” chorus.
The Ensemble and Audience: The 40 piece Annapolis Chamber Orchestra 150 members of the Chorale will sing enjoyable arrangements of favorite Christmas music. And you’ll have a chance to sing along for some traditional carols.
Recommended by Pat Edmunds
After hearing the Chorale’s 2014 Christmas concert, Pat wrote: “We wanted to tell you how much we all enjoyed the concert. It was wonderful. . . . The choir sounded like the Mormons and the orchestra like the Annapolis symphony! Not to be missed next year!”
