The Art of Trumpy Yacht Building Exhibit

Traces the design and construction of the distinctive wooden yachts from 1909 through 1973, when the Trumpy Yacht Yard in Annapolis, MD (Eastport) produced its last boat.  The models, paintings, historic photographs, artifacts, vintage signage and original drawings by naval architect and yacht designer John Trumpy, Sr., in the exhibit will bring the boat-building process to life.  Maybe we will see granddaughter of John Trumpy Sr., Sigrid Trumpy, curator and Maryland Hall’s Director of exhibitions.
